Save the burned child in Mogolia
Why are there so many children with burns in Mongolia?
Winter in Mongolia is cold and very dry, with temperatures exceeding minus 40 degrees Celsius from early October to the end of April.
In addition, more than 60 percent of people live in the traditional house of Ger, which is highly vulnerable to fire due to its material nature (cloths and wood).
There are no heating or kitchen facilities inside the Ger, and they spend the winter with a stove in the center of the Ger. Because of this environment, children are exposed to the danger of fire.
70% of all burned children are burned by pouring hot water or soup. There are 4,000 burn accidents in Mongolia every year.
Even the medical environment in Mongolia is very poor.
The only Mongolia's burn treatment hospital is National Severe Trauma Center in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city.
Mongolia's local treatment technology is currently focused on saving the lives of patients from burn accidents. There is a very low level of manpower and technology for follow-up treatments such as skin regeneration.
So there are too many children with burns who don't get proper treatment. In addition, they need to buy medicine to be treated in advance, but there are many children who cannot receive treatment at the right time because of poverty.
Most of these children die in vain without surgery. Even if they are lucky enough to save their life, they can't afford even the basic drugs because of the poor family circumstances.
After all, children suffer from pain and tears and even think of death.
The only hope for poor children is the Sarangbat Burning Medicine storage.
Since 2018, Sarangbat has created a burn medicine bank so that children can concentrate on treatment without worrying about money. We are constantly sending grants every month to buy first aid burns, ointment and wound treatments.
However, medicines run out quickly and storage is quickly emptying. It is absurdly insufficient to treat all sick children.
Please fill the burn medicine so that the children can receive proper treatment.
Would you like to join us to save these children?
About $100 for a child with burns to apply the ointment for a month
About $300 for first aid to a child with a burn
About $1000 for surgery to save the life of a child with a burn
The donation is provided to the National Severe Trauma Center in Ulaanbaatar.
Please support these children together so that they will no longer live in pain and grow healthy.
